The summer so far has been full of rest, new opportunities, and learning for UF SWEeties!

Virtual summer socials are in full swing, allowing members to collaborate and have fun together, despite being in different locations. The Social Chairs have hosted Pictionary and Trivia socials so far, which have been great opportunities to catch up with one another, while also engaging in some friendly competition!

We also celebrated International Women in Engineering Day in late June, a global celebration of female engineers, uniting individuals across continents to honor their successes and contributions to the engineering world [1]. International Women in Engineering Day has become a platform to showcase the incredible work of women engineers worldwide. Each year events and activities are organized across the globe to raise the profile of women in engineering, acting as a source of encouragement and support, empowering female engineers to reach their potential. The theme this year was #EnhancedbyEngineering!
